How are we handling the heat wave at Evening Cove! We open windows at night to let the cool air in and shut them just as the morning sun starts to shine into the south side of the inn. The air conditioning keeps everyone comfortable the rest of the day. Outside, the water is warm for swimming and the shaded decks provide a relaxing cool spot. The hammock seems to be in constant shade under the Arbutus tree. The good news is Environment Canada shows more normal temperatures next week-mid July!
Our local cranberry farm, Yellow Point Cranberry Farm, is holding their first cranberry festival.
