Homemade bread very popular at Evening Cove!
"I have been making my own bread for many years and I cannot remember the last time I bought bread from the bakery. This is a picture of one of the breads I serve at breakfast. I also grind organic wheat to make baked items that call for whole wheat flour, such as our multi-grain bread, scones, and pie crust made with soft wheat. Our Aga cooker helps to complete the process by baking the bread to perfection. I am asked frequently if I own a bread machine and the answer is no. Part of the joy of baking bread is mixing and kneading by hand.
