There has been so much going on across Canada this summer with extreme weather, garbage strikes in Vancouver, problems at BC ferries and fires in the Kootenays. Our sympathies to all impacted by these events. At Evening Cove however, things have been peaceful and for the first time since we established in 2002, we have not had many days of unbearable heat. The weather has been just fine and we are actually getting some much needed showers which means we don't have to tax our water system with irrigating. Our only complaint is the tomatoes are not as happy as they could be. The temperatures have been just great, not hot and not cold and lots of sun in between the occasional shower. The water has been great for swimming. Buddy and I can attest to that. Blackberries are at their peak and are being enjoyed by our guests with breakfast! We live in a great part of Canada!
